Why do we recommend a sod cutter?
When re-growing, the top layer of worn, decayed sawdust is cut/planed up to a thickness of about 2-3 cm, and this cut strip of soil can then be removed from the area.
The fast vibrating cutting blade of the motorised machine facilitates and professionalises the former operation. It is a misconception that old lawns should be rotated into the subsoil because the result will be disappointing.
It is recommended to rent a lawn mower when doing the lawn work yourself, as it is easy for the layman to use and is therefore becoming increasingly popular, whether in the garden of a house or on a football pitch.
There will be less green waste to take care of, less soil to replenish, again saving considerable sums of money, and if the need is to lay turf, the soil can be left out.
With a lawn mower, the existing lawn or turf can be picked up without damage so that it can be reinstalled when the garden is amended.

• The result of 6 years of experience in product development of this Hungarian-made machine is a safe, beautifully cutting, low-maintenance tool that cuts beautifully in all conditions. A further consideration was that all components should be accessible and easy to remove/replace.
• The machine is equipped with a professional class HONDA GX200 6.5 HP industrial four-stroke petrol engine.
• A 40 cm wide steel cutting blade (belt-driven), adjustable in depth from 0 to 4.5 cm, is used to cut the grass, which can be quickly secured with a quick-locking lever. The cutting edge always penetrates firmly into the ground, without the operator’s assistance or any intervention, thanks to the powerful motor drive and the cutting machine’s self-weight.
• It has a working speed of 0.5 m/s, which means that we can cover an area of about 700 m2 per hour and pick up the lawn.
• It is self-propelled, the tractor wheels are driven (traction clutch drive), and the lawn mower starts and moves by itself by pulling the throttle lever on the handle (the self-propelled function can be switched off).
• Its weight distribution is designed to maximise traction, cope with a wide range of terrain and retain manoeuvrability. The handlebar is foldable and the grip is rubberised.
